Julia Krause-Harder's art lives between dimensions—intuitive, architectural, and deeply rooted in Art Brut and self-taught traditions. Her sculptural installations and raw forms are grounded in meticulous detail and organic structure, creating a universe of material storytelling that’s as intimate as it is monumental.

Julia Krause-Harder creates monumental dinosaur sculptures that are both works of art and testaments to a fascination with natural history. Using recycled materials, found objects, and everyday objects, she builds detailed replicas of prehistoric giants—sometimes true to scale, sometimes with deliberate deviations that draw the eye to both the animal and the artist herself. Her works combine scientific research with a joy of experimentation in craftsmanship. The result is sculptures that not only bring the size and presence of prehistoric creatures to life, but also raise questions about memory, reconstruction, and the relationship between humans and nature.
